Two Peas in a Pod

There is a legend of the two peas in a pod,
A mystical tale of love and magic
Truth is believing it is not so hard

The legend goes.. together they came to the planet Earth
And were never apart since their birth
Like two peas in a pod
Truth be known believing it is not that hard
 They came to their castle and were quickly ordained
“Onyx, Duke of La Sierra” and “La Sierra’s Miss Chocolate Royale” ruled their domain

The years went by as they lived in harmony and peace
Then one day Miss Chocolate didn’t feel right
 and this time it wasn’t fleas
 So they set off on a journey to a far away land
Where the care givers lived and as legend goes
could make her better with the touch of their hands

But there she’d have to stay
For six nights and seven days
And every night Onyx would howl at the moon
Crying out to his love “Please come home soon”

The days dragged by and sometimes the nights were worse
Yet the care givers fought valiantly to rid her curse

Each day Onyx would lead her royal subjects
on the journey to the far away land
To visit the princess and brush her hair
and give a loving hand

Then one glorious day the news spread across the land
The princess was better and returning back to the castle
For the care givers had cured her
With their minds, their hearts and their hands

And from near and far you could hear the celebration,
the joy and the laughter
As you guessed it, they lived happily ever after

Yes there is a legend of the Two Peas in a Pod
And truth is believing it is not so hard
