I Can Dream

I can dream can’t I?
I can dream that I can fly
I can dream that I can touch the sky
For I can dream, can’t I?

I can dream and you’ll see
I can dream of what I might be
I can dream I’m sailing the sea
For I can dream, you’ll see.

I can dream, you know
I can dream of playing in the snow
I can dream I am an Eskimo
For I can dream, you know

I can dream in any place
I can dream I am an astronaut floating in space
Looking down at Earth with a smile on my face
For I can dream in any place.

I can dream, can’t I?
And some day you might see me flying in the sky
Or sailing across the open sea
But for today I’ll just dream of who I might be.
