“Surge” Water Wall

This water wall finished in “Surge” is located in our Gallery in Ontario, CA.

I wanted to capture the raw energy of the crashing tide and majestic beauty of a summer sky...as the setting colors of the ending day and the darkness of night blend to illuminate the dusk sky, as the sun fades below the horizon.  In doing so I used paint with irradescent  properties.  Thus the night sky and oceans waters change colors as you view the painting  from different angles.   I like to use this type of paint in many of my works for they enhance the painting with their unique qualities.
